The Ministry of Education and Cultural provides foreign student permit through the Directorate General of Higher Education for free to support internationalization development in Indonesian universities, as one of our missions is to support higher education institutions raise the numbers of foreign students in Indonesia. Visa applicants need to ensure that they receive a Letter of Acceptance from a university in Indonesia.

Those who wish to apply for online visas are encouraged to visit https://visa-online.imigrasi.go.id and prepare the documents needed, such as:

1. A scanned letter of academic transcript or diploma;


2. A scanned copy of passport;


3. A scanned letter of financial proof/guarantee.


4. Colorful passport-sized photograph.
